Application Deadlines

The grant interface is available 24/7. All application deadlines are 11:59 pm (just before midnight) on the date specified. Applications may be submitted up to 30 days prior to the deadline and will not be accepted after the deadline.

Project Support for Individual Artists & Culture Bearers: July 28 and January 18

Rural Arts Grants for Organizations and Individual Artists & Culture Bearers: January 18

Artists & Culture Bearers in the Schools Grants: August 1, October 1, and December 1

Programming and Project Support for Organizations: September 30 and March 30

General Operating Support Grants: August 31 and November 1

Organizational Sustainability and Capacity Building Grants: Available in 2027

Reporting Deadlines

  • Final Reports. Final Reports for all Grantees are due 30 days after the project End Date stated in the Contractual Agreement. Report forms are assigned through the grant interface and may be found in the Follow-Up Forms section on the Applicant Dashboard.
  • Thank You Letters: As part of the reporting process, all Grantees are required to send letters of appreciation to their senators and representatives in the Minnesota State Legislature. We encourage grantees to invite these legislators to their public events. Sample Thank You Letter
